10:25 - 10:40: Good Morning Circle Time; Short themed activity/story

10:40 - 11:00: Tour of the Gardens/ Picking weeds to feed the chickens & feeding the chickens and goats (A favourite activity!)

11:00 - 11:15: Snack & Story time in the forest on our story log

11:25 - 12:00: Mud Kitchen/ Forest Play/ Free time to go back to your favourite part  (Forest, Playground, Chickens etc)

Our time together will be fluid and we'll follow the children's lead in whatever is inspiring their play. If you want to stay longer with the chickens, go for it! Enjoy your time together. This time is for you and your little wildling.  Please do not enter the barn- it is a working farm and the barn has tools in it. Please respect the gardens and watch yours and your littles steps. Even an area that doesn't "look" like anything is growing could be hiding something yummy and we don't want to squish it with our feet!

We have porta-potties on site for washrooms, unfortunately we do not have an indoor space for diapering (yet). Please plan accordingly.

Where & When:

8463 5th Line, Angus, ON. Located on the land of the beautiful Moondance Organic Gardens.  We will meet at 10AM near the barn. You can park all the way down the driveway to the left, in front of the big grey garage. Look for me (Becky) with my brown floppy hat!

How to Dress your Little for Farm & Forest School:

  • Warm Pants & Socks

  • Rain Pants

  • Rain Boots / Shoes that can get dirty

  • Top: Lots of Layers! T- shirt, light sweater, rain coat

Dress for the weather! We will play and explore RAIN OR SHINE! We will need to cancel our activities in the event of severe weather.

What to bring:

Small bag (backpack is best) with water bottles, bug spray, sunscreen, a small snack,  a face cloth for washing mucky hands, and... your sense of adventure! Your littles will get the most out of our time together if grown-ups are ACTIVELY participating in all the activities!
