About the event
We warmly welcome Tonya Pinkney from Blosson and Bundle!
Rooted in a lifelong relationship with the land, Blossom and Bundle was founded by Tonya Pinkney who has “a lifelong lover of the land, dirt, and all things rooted, wild and free.” Guided by hands-on learning, family traditions, and years of tending, growing, and listening, Blossom and Bundle creates experiences grounded in curiosity, care, and deep respect for the natural world. Their work is rooted not in perfection, but in lived experience and the belief that the Land has much to teach us if we slow down enough to pay attention.
In this special seasonal gathering, we will come together around the teachings of the Strawberry, often known as the “Heart berry”, a plant connected with love, kindness, community, and living from the heart.
Together, we’ll slow our pace and deepen our connection with the Land as Tonya shares storytelling, seasonal teachings, and reflections inspired by the Strawberry harvest. We’ll explore the wisdom this beloved berry carries and honour its place as one of the first sweet gifts of summer.
Following our storytelling and harvest experience, we’ll roll up our sleeves for a joyful, hands-on jam-making session in a relaxed outdoor setting. Using fresh berries, participants will create their own small-batch jam to take home: a delicious reminder of the season, the teachings, and the beauty of gathering in community.
Come ready to listen, harvest, create, connect, and savour the sweetness of summer.

About Blossom and Bundle
Blossom and Bundle is a female-owned, Land-based learning and wellness business founded by Métis Land-based educator and program developer, Tonya Pinkney. Rooted in lived relationship with the Land, their work offers seasonal workshops, educational gatherings, and creative experiences that invite people to slow down, reconnect, and engage more deeply with the natural world.

Guided by values of care, reciprocity, accessibility, and respect for natural rhythms, Blossom and Bundle creates intentionally paced, hands-on experiences that support wellbeing, environmental awareness, curiosity, and meaningful community connection.
Their offerings include on-farm workshops, community programs, virtual learning, and collaborative experiences designed for individuals, families, educators, organizations, and community groups.
At the heart of their work is a belief that Land-based experiences foster grounding, reflection, creativity, and stronger relationships between people, place, and one another.

Accessibility & Inclusion
We strive to make our workshops welcoming and accessible to all. This is a small-group, seated experience where participants can move at their own pace with gentle, one-on-one guidance.
Please note that our workshops take place outside on uneven ground. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to reach out so we can explore how to best support your participation.
Our space includes indoor shelter that has 2 small steps up and an accessible portable toilet washroom , though the farm terrain can be uneven ground. There is a short 3-4 minute walk from the parking lot to the Gathering Yurt on a grass path, and the ground can be uneven in places. We can provide transportation on our Golf Cart to the Yurt if requested ahead of time. If accessibility is a barrier, physically or financially, please connect with us. We are happy to help where we can.
We recognize that the land we learn and play on is the traditional territory of Indigenous peoples. As a small gesture of reciprocity and relationship, we offer a $10 discount per ticket for Indigenous participants. If this would support your participation, please reach out.
