About Nature Babies

A gentle beginning to a lifelong love of Nature

Our Nature Babies program invites caregivers and their little ones  into a calm, nourishing outdoor space designed to honour the rhythms of early childhood. Rooted in  the wisdom of nature-based education, this program offers a slow, sensory-rich experience where babies can explore the world in the most natural way—through fresh air, free movement, and connection.

Each session, we spend at least an hour outdoors, encouraging families to embrace the simple beauty of the elements. Babies experience the changing seasons through touch, sound, and light: the rustle of leaves, the warmth of the sun, gentle birdsong, and the soothing sway of the trees. We provide thoughtfully curated invitations, soft natural materials, seasonal treasures, and calm spaces for tummy time and crawling, while allowing plenty of space for babies to lead their own discoveries.

Caregivers are welcomed into a supportive circle where slowing down is encouraged. There is time for meaningful conversation, quiet observing, and learning simple ways to weave nature into daily rhythms at home. We offer guidance rooted in child-led learning, attachment theory, and Waldorf early childhood approaches, helping families nurture secure, grounded beginnings.

Nature Babies is:

  • A peaceful weekly gathering for babies and their caregivers

  • A chance to build community during the tender first months of parenthood

  • A gentle introduction to sensory exploration and outdoor play

  • An opportunity to learn nature-inspired songs, rhymes, and simple rhythms

  • A warm space to ask questions, share stories, and connect with others

We believe the earliest years lay the foundation for a child’s lifelong relationship with the world. Through soft breezes, open skies, and the comfort of a caring community, Nature Babies supports families in creating rooted, joyful beginnings.

We’d love to welcome you and your little one to our circle.

A Very Warm Welcome to:

Dr. Daniella Perri, ND, CCCE

We are thrilled to share that our Nature Babies classes will be guided this Winter and Spring by licensed Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Daniella Perri. Daniella is a certified Childbirth Educator and an active member of the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PedANP), bringing a deeply informed, holistic perspective to early parenthood.

Daniella has been part of the Rewilding community for the past three years, attending programs with her own children and embracing the rhythm of outdoor, nature-led learning. We are overjoyed to welcome her in a new role: one that blends her professional expertise with her love of gentle, grounded parenting.

In each class, Daniella will support families in connecting more closely with nature while also offering a wealth of knowledge around infant wellbeing, postpartum health, and nurturing early development. Her presence brings both warmth and wisdom to our weekly gatherings, making this season of Nature Babies especially meaningful for new parents.

If you're looking to connect with Daniella in her work as a Naturopathic Doctor:
