Our Saturday morning Drop-In Farm & Forest Families also know as "My Grown-Up and Me" by Donation
- 2 hr2 hours
- Rewilding Education @ Moondance Organic Gardens
Come joins us every Saturday morning with your littles on the farm and in the forest for our weekly “My Grown-Up and Me" program. This is the perfect way to discover the fun that we have at Rewilding Education and to spend some beautiful time connecting, learning playing together. All ages welcome! Where & When: 8463 5th Line, Angus, ON. Located on the land of the beautiful Moondance Organic Gardens. We will meet at 10AM in the Children's Garden in front of the barn. You can park down the driveway, in front of the large grey shed, to the left of the greenhouse. What to wear: Dress for the weather! Your littles will likely get dirty. Dress them in warm layers that you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend rain boots and rain/splash pants. We will play and explore RAIN OR SHINE! (We will need to cancel our activities in the event of a severe weather) What to bring: Small bag (backpack is best) with water bottles, bug spray, sunscreen, a small snack, a face cloth for washing mucky hands, a backup change of clothes for your little and... your sense of adventure! You littles will get the most out of our time together if grown-ups are participating in all the activities! Cost: DONATE WHAT YOU ARE ABLE. :) We are offering this program at no cost to create an inclusive space for children and their "Grown-Ups" to explore the outdoors, learn about growing food and connecting with nature. Donations of $10 towards Rewilding Education’s subsidy fund are greatly appreciated to help keep these programs accessible to all and to subsidize fees for other core programs. We were able to have 3 children attend summer camp this past summer thanks to these generous donations. Thank you for supporting our subsidized programs. Looking forward to seeing you on the Farm and in the Forest!
