Our time together will be fluid and we'll follow the children's lead in whatever is inspiring their play. If you want to stay longer with the chickens, go for it! Enjoy your time together. This time is for you and your little Wildling. Please do not enter the barn- it is a working farm and the barn has tools in it. Please respect the gardens and watch yours and your littles steps. Even an area that doesn't "look" like anything is growing could be hiding something yummy and we don't want to squish it with our feet!
How to Dress your Little Wildling for Farm & Forest School:
Warm days: Sandals or shoes and clothes that can wet or muddy;
Cool days: Splash pants, rain boots, warm sweater

Dress for the weather! We will play and explore RAIN OR SHINE! We will need to cancel our activities in the event of severe weather. Don't forget hats for the grown-ups too!
What to bring:
Small bag (backpack is best) with water bottles, bug spray, sunscreen, some snacks, a face cloth for washing mucky hands, and... your sense of adventure! Your littles will get the most out of our time together if grown-ups are ACTIVELY participating in the play!

Where to go:
We are located on the property of Moondance Organic Gardens at 8463 5th Line, Angus ON. You can park in the parking lot immediately to the right when you turn into the driveway near there big white Market building. Walk down the path towards the big gray barn with the green and purple quilt on it. We will meet you there, in the Children's Garden.

What to Expect:
Walking paths are either grass or packed dirt. Please wear appropriate footwear for the weather conditions and to be outside.
There are two working dogs on the property: Shasta (white) and Jager (black and white). We call them our "Doggy Doorbells" - they will bark to alert us that someone has arrived. When they are out on the farm, they are working and will likely not approach you. They are extremely friendly but when they are out, they are working and they take their job seriously.
We do not have a changing area for diaper changes. Please plan accordingly. We have a professionally cleaned porta-potty with a potty seat and a stool for the little feet.
